Location: Lexington, KY
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: $35-37/hour

About the Dental Hygienist Role
Crown Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join a growing practice in Lexington, KY. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists to provide preventive and therapeutic dental care to patients while ensuring the highest standards of oral health and hygiene. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform administration of local anesthesia as permitted.
- Provide scaling, root planing, and full mouth debridement.
- Accurately record probing and charting for patient records.
- Capture and develop radiographs using proper techniques.
- Apply topical fluoride treatments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Maintain sterile instruments, disinfect operatories, and manage operatory inventory.
- Assist with oral surgery and Phase I Dentistry when needed.
- Support clerical duties, including progress notes, appointment scheduling, referrals, and internal reports.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
- Current Kentucky Dental Hygienist License.
- Current CPR certification.
- Local Anesthesia permit (required).
- 1+ year of experience preferred.
- Expanded duties certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, infection control, and OSHA standards.
