Job Title: Second Shift TIG Welder
Location: West Chicago
Shift: Second Shift 4:30pm to 1am possible Over Time

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking experienced TIG Welders to join our second shift team. This role requires strong technical skill in welding thin stainless steel with a focus on high-quality, cosmetic finishes. Weld quality is critical, and all candidates must successfully complete a weld test prior to hire.

This role requires strong technical skill in welding thin stainless steel with a focus on high-quality, cosmetic finishes. Weld quality is critical, and all candidates must successfully complete a weld test prior to hire.
Responsibilities:
- Perform precision TIG welding on thin stainless steel components without blow-through.
- Produce clean, cosmetically appealing welds that meet visual and structural standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
- Inspect finished welds for defects, accuracy, and appearance.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe, organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and quality expectations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience with stainless steel, emphasizing cosmetic welds.
- Proven ability to weld thin materials with consistent quality.
- Must pass a company-administered weld test.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and maintain productivity on second shift.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in fabrication or finishing of stainless steel assemblies.
- Familiarity with polishing and blending welds for cosmetic applications.
