Overview
The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of all production machinery. This role performs routine preventive maintenance, troubleshoots mechanical issues, and completes repairs to minimize downtime and support continuous production.

Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Complete all scheduled daily preventive maintenance (PM) tasks to keep equipment in peak operating condition.
- Inspect machinery for signs of wear, damage, or inefficiencies and address issues proactively.
- Equipment Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Set up, visually inspect, and test machinery to confirm proper functionality before and during operation.
- Monitor equipment performance, listening for unusual sounds or mechanical irregularities.
- Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to diagnose operational problems quickly and effectively.
- Repairs & Component Replacement:
- Dismantle malfunctioning machinery to identify defective components.
- Repair or replace worn or faulty parts to restore full functionality.
- Ensure all repairs are completed according to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical maintenance or industrial repair.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and repair techniques.
