Crown Staffing is Now Hiring an Order Picker for a manufacturer in Roselle, IL!
Job Details
Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $19/hr
- Overtime possible and mandatory
Order Picker / Forklift Driver Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Stand-Up Forklift experience (required)
- Experience with order picking, staging, and warehouse operations
- Ability to lift and work on your feet for an entire shift
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail when picking orders
- RF scanner experience preferred
About the Order Picker / Forklift Driver Role
As an Order Picker / Forklift Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a Stand-Up Forklift to move, stack, and transport materials
- Picking customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners
- Staging and preparing completed orders for shipment
- Loading and unloading trucks as needed
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and reporting shortages or errors
- Following daily production goals to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Keeping work areas organized and free of safety hazards
- Supporting general warehouse operations as needed
- Communicating with leads and supervisors regarding workflow and priorites
