Crown Staffing is looking for a qualified CDL Equipment Operator in the El Reno Oklahoma area. 
Job Summary
The CDL Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles and heavy equipment to transport, load, unload, and handle oilfield pipe and related materials. This role supports manufacturing, yard operations, and customer deliveries while maintaining strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CDL-required vehicles (flatbeds, tractor-trailers, pipe trucks, etc.) to transport oilfield pipe and equipment.
  • Load and unload pipe using forklifts, cranes, side loaders, or other heavy equipment.
  • Secure loads properly using chains, straps, and blocking to ensure safe transport.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Safely maneuver vehicles and equipment in manufacturing plants, pipe yards, and job sites.
  • Assist with pipe handling, staging, inventory organization, and yard operations as needed.
  • Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and all safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and shipping documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.
  • Support manufacturing or coating operations when not driving, as required.
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL (with appropriate endorsements, if required).
  • Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment (forklifts, cranes, loaders, or similar).
  • Knowledge of load securement practices for steel pipe.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to safety and detail.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy materials with or without equipment assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in oilfield, pipe manufacturing, or steel industry.
  • Crane certification or rigging experience.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to climb on and off equipment and trailers.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to [insert weight] with assistance or equipment.
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing facility, pipe yard, and customer job sites.
  • Exposure to noise, heavy machinery, and outdoor conditions.
  • Safety-sensitive position.
$18-19 Depending on experience 15 days on 6 days off
