Breastfeeding Peer Counselor
Louisville, KY
Pay: $15.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Requirements
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of health education and breastfeeding support preferred
- Ability to mentor, coach, and support others effectively
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain data using computer systems
- Maintain accurate records, files, and program documentation
- Conduct on-site visits with assigned individuals to provide support and coaching
- Assess needs and provide referrals based on program guidelines
- Share and explain health education materials and resources
- Communicate with healthcare providers, community agencies, and social services
- Support outreach efforts and encourage participation in programs
