Manufacturing Associate
Louisville, KY
Pay: $17.50/hour
1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Manufacturing Associate Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Six months of manufacturing experience preferred
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and basic computer skills preferred
- Ability to read and use a tape measure and micrometer
- Ability to read and understand process work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
- Willingness to work overtime, alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and shutdown periods as needed
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly operations to manufacture completed driveshafts using hand tools, fixtures, jigs, and light power equipment
- Verify components against customer orders and bills of material to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet specifications and tolerances
- Inspect components and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical or hydraulic issues during assembly
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and production schedules
- Support quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned
