Forklift Operator – Warehouse Operations
Plainfield, IN
Pay: $17.00/hour

Schedule Information
1st Shift Options
- 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
2nd Shift
- 6:00 PM–2:30 AM
Shift flexibility and occasional weekend availability may be required based on operational needs.
Forklift Operator Requirements
- Previous sit-down LP forklift experience required
- Experience loading, unloading, stacking, and staging palletized products
- Ability to perform accurate piece-picking and inventory transactions
- Experience using handheld scanners and tablets
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Ability to maintain legible records and complete documentation neatly
- Willingness to support packaging, cleaning, and general facility operations
- Flexibility with shift start and end times when required
- Availability to work occasional weekends
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Positive and professional attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to forklift and warehouse-safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down LP forklift safely and efficiently.
- Move, stack, stage, and transport products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from semi-trailers.
- Complete piece-picking and pallet-stacking assignments accurately.
- Use handheld scanners and tablets to complete electronic inventory transactions.
- Verify product information, quantities, and warehouse locations.
- Support packaging-line operations when needed.
- Assist with facility cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
- Operate pressure washers and pneumatic air tools when trained and assigned.
- Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all established safety, quality, and productivity requirements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and warehouse team members.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
