Welder – 2nd Shift
Berea, KY
Pay: $20.40/hour

Schedule Information
- Monday–Thursday
- 4:00 PM–2:30 AM
- 2nd shift
- Overtime may be required
Welder Requirements
- Entry-level welding experience preferred
- At least three to six months of experience in manufacturing, skilled trades, construction, food service, or a similar hands-on environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to set, tack, and weld uprights, carriages, sub-weldments, and related components
- Ability to position, fit, block, clamp, grind, cut, chip, and tack parts
- Strong attention to alignment, workmanship, and product quality
- Ability to follow welding instructions, specifications, and safety procedures
- Three years of work history with explanations for employment gaps
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Steel-toed boots required
- Ability to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and other required PPE
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, tack, and weld major components, sub-weldments, and miscellaneous parts.
- Allow for material draw while completing welding operations.
- Support the continuous production of components used in lift trucks.
- Position, fit, block, and clamp parts to achieve proper alignment.
- Adjust fixtures according to production and welding requirements.
- Grind, cut, chip, and tack materials as required.
- Inspect completed welds and components for quality and accuracy.
- Identify and report welding defects, equipment problems, or quality concerns.
- Maintain established production and quality standards.
- Use welding tools and equipment safely and properly.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Promote safe work practices throughout the production area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Perform additional welding and production duties as assigned.
