Custodian – Weekend Shift
Frankfort, KY
Pay: $15.00/hour

Schedule Information
- Friday and Monday: 10:00 AM–8:30 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Weekend availability required
Custodian Requirements
- Previous custodial, janitorial, commercial-cleaning, or industrial-cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal cleaning instructions
- Knowledge of basic cleaning products and sanitation procedures
- Ability to safely operate standard custodial and floor-care equipment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks
- Ability to maintain cleaning-supply inventory
- Commitment to chemical, equipment, and workplace-safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain assigned offices, buildings, and plant areas in a clean and orderly condition.
- Clean lunchrooms, restrooms, break areas, offices, and production-support areas.
- Dust surfaces, clean windows, and empty trash containers.
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors.
- Strip, wax, buff, and polish floors as assigned.
- Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures and high-touch surfaces.
- Remove litter and help maintain exterior grounds when assigned.
- Replenish paper products, soap, and other cleaning supplies.
- Monitor cleaning-supply inventory and report items that need to be reordered.
- Clean and properly store custodial tools and equipment.
- Report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain organized custodial storage areas.
- Complete all work safely and according to facility procedures.
- Participate in special cleaning projects when requested.
- Perform additional custodial duties as assigned.
