Somerset, KY
Pay: $18.19–$19.35/hour, based on qualifications

Schedule Information
- Open availability for 2nd and/or 3rd shift required
- Weekend availability required
- Employees work two consecutive weekends and receive the third weekend off
- Overtime may be required
Shift Hours
- 1st Shift: 6:45 AM–3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:45 PM–11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:45 PM–7:00 AM
Pay Information
- High School Diploma or GED: $18.19/hour
- Associate Degree, CNA, CMA, or RBT: $18.78/hour
- Bachelor’s Degree: $19.35/hour
- Shift differential offered for 2nd and 3rd shifts
- Additional $1.00/hour for weekend shifts
Direct Support Caregiver Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Reliable transportation required
- Open availability for 2nd and/or 3rd shift
- Ability to work required weekends
- Compassionate and respectful approach to resident care
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to follow federal and state regulations and facility policies
- Commitment to protecting residents’ safety, dignity, and rights
Key Responsibilities
- Provide continuous care and supervision to residents with developmental disabilities.
- Attend to residents’ physical, emotional, and personal needs.
- Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
- Support home-management, leisure, and independent-living skills.
- Help residents develop greater independence.
- Assist residents with safe transfers between equipment.
- Maintain residents’ comfort and safety during care activities.
- Protect the safety, rights, and well-being of each resident.
- Maintain a secure, respectful, and supportive environment.
- Complete accurate care and progress documentation during each shift.
- Follow all federal and state regulations and facility policies.
- Report changes in condition, safety concerns, or incidents promptly.
About the Direct Support Caregiver Role
Crown Staffing is hiring Direct Support Caregivers for full-time, temp-to-hire opportunities in Somerset, KY. This position provides care, supervision, and daily-living assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, dependable, and committed to helping residents maintain their safety, dignity, and independence. Candidates must have open availability for 2nd and/or 3rd shift and be available to work the required weekend rotation.
