CDL Yard Driver
Frankfort, KY
Pay: $21.00/hour
Schedule: 8-Hour or 12-Hour Shifts Available
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

CDL Yard Driver Requirements

  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL required
  • Previous yard driving or tractor-trailer experience preferred
  • Farming or agriculture experience required
  • Strong attention to safety and situational awareness
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a yard tractor to move trailers and containers within the yard
  • Position trailers accurately for loading and unloading
  • Follow all safety procedures and DOT regulations
  • Communicate with warehouse and shipping teams to support daily operations
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report any issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Perform general duties around the lumber yard
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
