Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Sit-Down Forklift Operator
Sit-Down Forklift Operator Job Details
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.50/hour
Location: Columbus, OH 43228
Sit-Down Forklift Operator Requirements/Qualifications:
- Recent experience operating a propane/LPG sit-down forklift is required
- Valid driver's license required
- Clean background check required
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong attention to detail and order accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to stand, walk, and frequently get on and off the forklift throughout the shift
- Experience with shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
About the Sit-Down Forklift Operator Role
As a Sit-Down Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Picking, staging, and labeling customer orders for shipment
- Preparing .com orders for FedEx, UPS, and LTL freight carriers
- Picking and staging full truckload orders for Sam’s Club shipments
- Performing quality checks to verify order accuracy and product condition
- Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
- Inspecting loads before and after loading/unloading activities
- Assisting with labeling .com and basketball orders as needed
- Frequently getting on and off the forklift to complete warehouse tasks
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and organized staging areas
- Following all company safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
