About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional II candidates to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home setting in New Albany, IN.
In this role, you’ll provide hands-on support with daily living activities while helping individuals build independence and improve their overall quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, and hygiene
- Support individuals with mobility and personal care needs
- Transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities using a company vehicle
- Prepare meals and assist with cooking
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and laundry
- Encourage independence and support life skill development
- Follow individualized care plans and document daily activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle
- Ability to follow care plans and documentation procedures
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
