Home Inspector
Louisville, KY (Serving Central Kentucky & Southern Indiana)
Pay: Based on Experience and Certification
Full-Time

Home Inspector Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and communication
  • Ability to complete required Kentucky home inspection coursework and pass the NHIE (reimbursement provided)
  • Construction, maintenance, or related experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform residential and commercial property inspections following company and state standards
  • Inspect major systems including roofing, structure, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
  • Prepare clear and accurate inspection reports using company software
  • Communicate findings professionally with clients and real estate agents
  • Perform additional services such as radon, mold, and sewer inspections (training provided)
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in clean working condition
  • Work independently while staying connected with the team
  • Complete continuing education to maintain certifications
  • Follow all safety guidelines and best practices

Crown Staffing is hiring a detail-oriented Home Inspector to join a growing inspection team serving Central Kentucky and Southern Indiana. In this role, you will conduct property inspections, create accurate reports, and clearly communicate findings with clients and real estate professionals.
No prior home inspection experience is required. Training is provided, along with reimbursement for required certifications and licensing expenses. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong attention to detail who enjoys working independently and helping clients make informed decisions about their properties.
