– Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs
– Services existing accounts and establishes new accounts
– Focuses on sales efforts
– Submits quotes
– Communication with management members
– Recommends changes in products, services, and policies
– Position is responsible for all aspects of sales (from business development to quoting to delivery, support, and any quality issues)
– Monitoring inventory level and shipping schedule
– Negotiate prices and quotes with clients
