Auto Body & Paint Technician Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Location: Miamisburg, OH 45342
Auto Body & Paint Technician Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous auto body, automotive painting, industrial painting, powder coating, or similar painting experience required
- Experience preparing surfaces for paint application, including sanding, masking, and cleaning
- Knowledge of paint application techniques and equipment preferred
- Ability to follow work instructions and quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and stand throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are required
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
About the Auto Body & Paint Technician Role
As an Auto Body & Paint Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing surfaces for painting through sanding, cleaning, masking, and other prep work
- Applying paint and coatings to automotive parts, equipment, or products
- Inspecting finished work to ensure quality and consistency
- Mixing and preparing paint materials according to specifications
- Operating paint equipment and maintaining proper application techniques
- Performing touch-up work and correcting imperfections as needed
- Following all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Assisting with general production and shop duties as required
- Working with team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations
