General Utility Associate Requirements/Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience required. Warehouse experience alone does not meet the requirement.
- Plastics manufacturing experience is a strong plus.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow production procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
- Ability to perform physical production and material-handling duties.
About the General Utility Associate Role
As a General Utility Associate, your responsibilities may include:
- Work closely with plant staff to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Start and operate mixers and production lines.
- Empty production lines into pallets for work-in-progress or finished goods.
- Track inventory produced during the shift.
- Monitor production downtime and document causes.
- Ensure the correct packaging materials are used for each product type.
- Build pallets to keep pace with production output.
- Load and unload trucks and stage products in the correct locations.
- Perform visual or tool-assisted quality checks.
- Maintain a clean work area using the 6S process.
- Perform other production duties as assigned.
