Assemble, install and align dies in press according to specifications

Adjust stock to specific length

Position materials to enter die straight and set gates at the end of the feed hole

Start press and observe operation to detect misalignment or malfunction

Inspect parts visually, use Micro-Vu / comparator verifying conformance to product specifications and detect manufacturing defects

Monitor material, run performance and make adjustments

Attach any micro switches or die protection

Run test pieces to spec before proceeding to run job

Must have Machine Set Up experience

Ability interpret blueprints, manuals and machine instructions

SPC knowledge

Ability to communicate in English

Strong math skills

HS Diploma or equivalent
