Secondary Operator / Assembler Requirements:

1–3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
Basic math skills
Experience using hand tools and operating machinery such as drill presses or punch presses preferred
Previous working in a production/manufacturing environment with moving machinery
Strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency

About the Secondary Operator / Assembler Role:

As a Secondary Operator / Assembler, your responsibilities will include:
Assembling metal components and products at a bench or on the production floor
Positioning parts according to blueprints and work instructions to ensure accuracy
Fastening parts using bolts, screws, rivets, clips, and other hardware
Operating machinery such as drill presses, punch presses, riveting machines, and automated equipment
Performing forming operations on metal stampings
Inspecting parts visually and with gauges to ensure quality standards are met
Removing small amounts of excess material using hand tools for precise fitting
Monitoring product quality throughout the assembly process
Recording and documenting production quantities accurately
Packing finished components into appropriate packaging
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by following all safety procedures
Supporting additional production tasks as assigned by management
