Design new Tablet Press Machines and support the continuous improvement of the existing line

Prepare layouts, drawings and designs according to engineering specifications

 Review engineering drawings and supporting documentation to verify adherence to standard practices

Generate drawings per internal and customer specifications for quoting and manufacturing purposes

Retrieve information from files and displays on computer, using required computer language.

 Extensive work experience in mechanical/machine design and operations

 Experience in the design of new projects from concept to completion

Knowledge of manufacturing practices or work experience in manufacturing

 Proficient in 3D CAD software- preferably Solidworks

Experience in CMM and or CAM software

Mechanical aptitude

 2+ years with the criteria listed above

Must have the ability to sit at a desk using a computer for 8 or more hours per day; stand, kneel, walk and bend as required throughout the work day to accomplish various tasks

 Be able to lift, pull, push or carry various types of light weight items (approximately 1-10 pounds) and process accordingly.
