Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a CMM Operator/Programmer.
CMM Operator/Programmer Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $30.00–$34.00/hr, depending on experience
Location: Springboro, OH

CMM Operator/Programmer Requirements/Qualifications
- Resume and interview required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of quality CMM experience required.
- Zeiss Calypso experience required.
- Programming experience is a bonus; experienced CMM operators are preferred over programmers.
- Proficient in GD&T and practical application of GD&T.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience using calipers, digital indicators, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Competent in reading CAD data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate inspection data effectively.
- Ability to lift and carry 25–50 lbs. as required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods..
About the CMM Operator/Programmer Role
As a CMM Operator/Programmer, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop inspection programs using Zeiss Calypso software.
- Run CMM programs to inspect aerospace parts, components, and checking fixtures.
- Modify and troubleshoot existing CMM programs and reports.
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements.
- Collect accurate inspection data and prepare reports in the required format.
- Develop data collection programs for finished parts, sub-assemblies, components, and fixtures.
- Ensure inspections and reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Store inspection data, reports, and documents according to established procedures.
- Communicate inspection results to internal customers and production teams.
- Assist with calibration and certification of inspection and test equipment.
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
- Support process improvement initiatives and prioritize inspection work requests.
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records.
- Perform additional duties as directed by leadership.
