Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Shop Helper.
Shop Helper Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Shop Helper Requirements/Qualifications
- Resume and interview required.
- No background check required.
- Drug screen required.
- Mechanically inclined with basic electrical knowledge preferred.
- Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and calipers.
- Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
- Mechanical repair, carpentry, pipefitting, or fiberglass laminating experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
- Ability to safely use or learn to use standard hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including protective glasses, hearing protection, and protective footwear.
About the Shop Helper Role
As a Shop Helper, your responsibilities will include:
- Repair fiberglass and mechanical equipment in the shop.
- Perform basic carpentry, pipefitting, and fiberglass laminating tasks.
- Assist with organizing tools and equipment.
- Sort, label, and store items in designated locations.
- Report and document product malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop and workspace.
- Identify and address trip, slip, and fall hazards.
- Assist with shop activities and production tasks as assigned.
- Participate in safety training programs.
- Follow all safety, quality, and production requirements.
- Support team goals related to safety, quality, production, and teamwork.
- Work respectfully and professionally with team members and management.
